It is interesting how characters form in your mind.
Izzy started just as a freckle and a little plait. As I wrote about her, her form took place without, it would seem, any input from me, and she came out as small and cute, pretty, petite and delicate.
All of the things I wish that I were.
But, of course, she is my first fully formed character, so more and more of myself has been put into her nature, if not how she looks. She cooks, for instance. She can't swim. She hates arguments, but loathes unfairness even more, so she'll stand her ground if she has to.
She is, as you will find out, much braver than she gives herself credit for.
