How to Love Goats

Now, our Shayne isn't a nice person, is she?

Certainly, the Shayne we met in How to Breathe Underwater is a nasty piece of work, not someone I would want to have as a friend.

So why does Anya admire her so? What makes her keep coming back for more friendship? There must be SOMETHING good about Shayne, wouldn't you think?

Not that I can think of one, not a single one. And the Shayne we meet at the beginning of Book two, the Shayne who Hates Goats? No, not a friend of mine, thank you very much. I'm with Bella on this one.

I wonder how she will change? How will she come to Love Goats?
